Kittenwaves

Follow these steps to prepare and start Kittenwaves for Wuthering Waves. Complete each step in order.

#Step 1: Open the Nvidia plugin folder

Open this folder in your Wuthering Waves installation:

\Wuthering Waves Game\Engine\Plugins\Runtime\Nvidia\

#Step 2: Remove Streamline

Delete only the Streamline folder in the specified Nvidia plugin directory.

#Step 3: Place the DLL

Put the provided DLL file in the same folder as the loader.

#Step 4: Start the loader

Open the loader.

#Step 5: Select the game file

Select your game's executable:

\Wuthering Waves Game\Client\Binaries\Win64\Client-Win64-Shipping.exe

#Step 6: Open the menu

Press Insert in-game to open the menu.

#Troubleshooting

  • Game does not start: Close both the game and loader in Task Manager, then try again.
  • No menu after loading: Disable all overlays, such as RivaTuner or NVIDIA ShadowPlay, then restart the game.
  • Game crashes or does not work: Close everything and repeat the setup steps.
  • Loader still asks to delete Streamline: Add -dx11 to gamepath.txt, then try again.
